Entertainment/Activities
While the raison
d'ętre of the Legion was, is, and will continue to be to
care for our veterans and remember their sacrifices, it
also is a club that offers opportunities for our members
and members of the public to gather and have fun.
Events and activities
We offer many regular activities such as Wednesday night bingo,
Free Pool Saturdays and Sundays and
various sports and games leagues that play throughout
the week. We've also brought back Saturday night
Live Entertainment.

Lewis and
Shearn Memorial Bingo
The Lewis and Shearn Memorial bingo will be held on
Wednesday 01 June. The money from that night will be
donated to Ottawa’s Military Family Resource Centre.
Please come out to play and to support a worthy project
for our military family.
The door
and kitchen open at 4 p.m. every Wednesday, and the
games begin at 6:40.
This not only is very popular but
also is one of the biggest sources of the money we
donate to various charities
throughout the year.
Sports and games
Most of our sports and games leagues, including
sandbags, euchre, pool, board games, and darts, play
from September through April.

Special events
We hold regular music jamborees featuring many of the
finest country artists in Ottawa and the valley. We also
host a Trivia Challenge for Charity four times a year
and organize various events to raise money
for community causes.
We also conduct services and wreath-laying ceremonies at
the Westboro Cenotaph to mark three major Remembrance
events: Battle of The Atlantic Sunday, Battle of
Britain, and Remembrance Day.
Check our
calendar for information on upcoming events.
